At Tirrintippin we aim to provide a homely place for you to relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside of northern New South Wales.
Tirrintippin is a working sustainable farm. We keep cows, pigs, chickens and other farm animals. You are welcome to help out at the farm if this takes your fancy, an extra pair of hands is always welcome. However, this certainly isn’t expected, it’s just an option to add another dimension to your holiday.
You can do a lot of exciting things on Tirrintippin and around us, or absolutely nothing. You are more than welcome to sit in the sun all day long watching the farm life go by.
Tirrintippin is situated 4.4km after the Ellenborough Falls, North West of Taree. The homestead and farmstay facilities are located on 132 acres of grazing land. Our other properties are located about 15km from the homestead in the middle of the Biriwal Bulga National Park which mainly consists of rainforests.
Tucked away high in the mountains, near a sacred river on 132 acres, surrounded by magical untouched rainforest and millions of stars, awaits for you to be, in the silence, the sounds of bellbirds, and the breeze through thousands of trees, for you to relax, read, meditate or walk, or watch the sun melting into the hills, the perfect place to be.
The area has immense natural features to explore, wildlife abounds, swimming in nearby waterhole and walks to enjoy. Ellenborough Falls is only 4.5 kilometres away and is one of the longest single drops in the southern hemisphere. Enjoy the falls from the viewing platforms or take the timbered walkway to the bottom of the falls.
Explore the property on horseback, the rides suit all ages or on a Mountain Bike, the rides explore the beautiful forest trails in the Tirrintippin hinterland (cost applies).
